Very busy weekend - rehearsal in Philly on Sat, and Sunday was church, teach 2 long lessons, and take my own long lesson.

Today, Monday

Inman: 200 lbs x

1 extended lap, maybe 130 yards, stopped and stood w/ bar in middle

1 lap, 100 yards, w/ 245 lbs.

DL: Narrow Sumo, double overhand grip

245 x 3, 3, 4 - this is really about all the weight I can move using my legs and not my back.  Sad, but true, and a good reason for me to keep working on my sumo DL.

Monday:  5 hours performing, drive home from Philly

Tuesday:  a non-stop day with no time for anything except a short walk

Wednesday:

Inman: 160 lbs. x 100 yards, 200 lbs. x 230 yards (700 feet) on the street = PR

A few presses early, light DLs plus walk later

Lots of driving and other sitting for out of town rehearsal yesterday, Saturday

Today, early before church

short walking breathing practice (been doing this every morning this week)

18: mil press, 8L + 8R - form felt pretty good, focus on lat engagement, pain-free groove on left through sticking point, shoulder packed on right at top, minimal, if any, lean-back, weight on both feet, thumb point almost straight back at top.

Later (2 PM)

DL: narrow sumo, double overhand grip

Inman

Had hoped to Inman yesterday but it didn't happen.

Today

160 lbs. on the road including a short up- and down-hil.

First was 120 yards, second was 150 yards by going past the top of the hill a bit.

Inman - 245 x 1 lap, 225 x 1 lap plus a few steps, 205 x 1 lap plus a few more steps

Today:

18 kg: mil press x 5L + 1 windmill, 5R + 1 windmill - wm to fingertips

18 kg: mil press x 7R + 1 windmill, 7L + 1 windmill - wm to palms


DL:

sort of narrow sumo, 225 x 3 double over as singles w/ reset at bottom

WHEEL:

4th step: 1, 1 to pretty full extension
